    Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently asked questions about car repair.

    How long is the warranty?
A 12-month or 12,000-mile warranty, whichever comes first is provided, giving you peace of mind after your engine rebuild.
    What are your payment methods?
You can pay by bank transfer, credit or debit card (via PayPal), or in person.
Is it better to rebuild my engine or fit a replacement engine?
In most cases, a rebuild is the better option. Replacement engines can have an unknown history and are often only partially repaired rather than fully reconditioned. A rebuild allows us to fully inspect and renew the internal components of your own engine, giving you greater reliability and peace of mind.
Do you use OEM (manufacturer) parts or aftermarket components?
All components used in our engine rebuilds are OEM parts to manufacturer specification. We do not fit pattern or aftermarket components, as we are responsible for the warranty on the rebuilt engine and only use parts we trust to meet the required quality, fitment, and durability standards.
How long does the engine rebuild process take?
The timeframe depends on the vehicle make and model and whether the work involves a full engine rebuild or a specific repair such as cambelt failure damage. As a general guide, most jobs are completed within 5 to 21 working days, subject to parts availability and the extent of internal damage found during strip-down.
